Position Summary

The Film and Digital Media Center is seeking a Cinematography instructor to teach courses in digital cameras and lighting. Applicant will be instructing students in proper technical, aesthetic and crew etiquette in lighting and operating the camera for various genres and lighting styles. Technical craft as well as creative use of lighting techniques to support story is a critical element required of the ideal applicant. Instructor must be familiar with 1080P and 4K RAW originating formats and workflow. 3-5 years of professional experience required. Previous teaching experience preferable but not required. Courses may be offered during the day or evening depending upon scheduling.

The applicant offered this position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test.


Looking for Cinematographer, Directors of Photography and Camera Operators who have experience; teaching experience not required but applicants without teaching experience would be required to go through instructor training process if accepted for the position.
