Position Summary Information

Position Summary

The Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at Clayton State University is seeking applicants for part-time instructors in English to teach First-Year Writing both on main campus and Fayette County-Peachtree site. The positions require a Master’s degree or higher in English or an applicable discipline. Particular need is for part-time faculty who can teach during the day.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• An earned graduate degree (M.A. or higher) in an applicable field. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in English or Rhetoric and Composition.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in teaching First-Year Writing or relevant high school teaching experience
