Position Summary Information

Position Summary

The LakerCard Center Customer Service Representative is a part time regular position. This position provides customer service support for the LakerCard Center and full-time staff.

Duties include accepting LakerBucks, deposits and answering questions about accounts, ID card production, selling meal plans, answering questions about Bank Mobile (student refunds), SmartPrint, and vending.

Some evening and weekend work may be required.

The applicant offered this position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

Cashier or banking experience preferred.

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities Summary

• Provides front line customer support for the LakerCard Center, including accepting deposits, creating ID cards, and answering questions about the services supported by the Card Center.

• Sells and assigns meal plans.

• Issues refunds and provides first-line troubleshooting services for vending and SmartPrint services.

• Provides general support for the LakerCard Center staff.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Windows and Microsoft Office.

• Cash handling, customer service, and general computer skills.

• Ability to work 8am-2pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-3:30pm Fridays, and occasional Saturdays as needed.
