High School Diploma/GED is required.

Responsibilities Summary
  • Provide customer service functions in all areas of Continuing Education though mail, phone, walk-ins.
  • Meet and greet students each day/evening and entering and exiting the building.
  • Visit each class daily, to check to see, if the instructor has any needs.
  • Accept payments (credit card, cash, checks, and money order) for registrations. (Cash and Check only accepted at CSU’s Center for Continuing Education’s main location.)
  • Process registrations.
  • Provide a summary of student course evaluations at the end of each quarter to the Program Managers.
  • Compile, update, and maintain attendance rosters and mailing lists.
  • Provide information (mail, phone, walk-ins) on all programs offered within Continuing Education.
  • Confirm (on a daily basis) that scheduled courses have been assigned meeting space and post on monitor.

* For each new class, ensure that instructors have an Instructor Packet (roster, attendance forms, attendance discrepancy form, student profile survey, certificates and etc.)

* Troubleshoot problems/issues that arise with students and/or instructors.

* Keep front office area and work space tidy.

* Check classrooms for neatness, straighten chairs, (markers & erasers), supplies and equipment, and prepare room signs.

* Promote upcoming consecutive classes to current students (i.e. Reminding Total Spanish Level 1 students to enroll for upcoming Total Spanish Level 2).

* Must be able to work nights and weekends for events.

* Must have a flexible schedule.

  • First Night- Announce marketing surveys importance and assure students we do not share the information. Then ask then to fill out the surveys, collect them and enter them into Aceware.
  • Last Night-Personally do the evaluations collect them and return them into the office.
