Position Summary Information

Position Summary

Temporary Part-Time teaching position in the Music Preparatory School, which is a community music school program. Teach private and group piano lessons, all ages, and may be asked to accompany semi-annual recitals. Must be available some evenings and Saturdays.

The applicant offered this position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test.


Two years teaching experience, any age or level.

Minimum Education Requirements

Master’s degree in piano pedagogy or performance (minimum)

Responsibilities Summary

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Specialized knowledge in piano literature and pedagogy.
Effective organizational, time management and communication skills. Excellence in musical performance.
Ability to work under limited supervision with a variety of students and parents from the local community.
